The Fraternity Club has celebrated its Italian Associations Christmas Luncheon with much fanfare and an appearance from special guest, Italian Consul General in NSW Andrea De Felip.
A few hundred guests enjoyed food and festivities on December 8, backed by music, entertainment and dancing.
The Frat’s vice president Connie Sacco and director Gabe Bresolin led proceedings at the second annual event, as the Italian Consul General was warmly received. Mr De Felip enlightened guests with a story relating to The Frat.
“I attended the University of Wollongong in 1996 and I would come to The Fraternity Club often. I had many friends here,” he said.
The Frat’s president Mick Cuda praised the hard work of staff and made special mention of the Christmas luncheon.
“We’ve had our most successful year financially and continue to be one of the leading clubs in the Illawarra. Let’s celebrate as we look forward to your continued support,” he said.
The Italian Consul General was joined by his wife, Joy, and two-year-old son Gionata Kai.
Guests also enjoyed three-course meal, musical entertainment and an appearance from Santa Claus.
