Do I need photo ID to enter the club?Persons over the age of 18, must produce one of the following forms of ID, in order to enter The Fraternity Club as a Visitor or Guest, or to join our Club as a Member: - Australian Driver’s or Rider’s Licence - NSW Photo Card (issued by NSW Roads & Maritime Services) - Passport (issued by Australia with proof of address or another country) - Proof of Age Card (issued by Australian state or territory except NSW) - Keypass (Over-18) Identity Card (Issued by Australia Post)

Is there a dress code?Yes, the following are not permited at any time: - Ripped, torn or frayed clothing except when such is part of the design. - Offensive clothing - Football / Rugby shorts - Bare feet - School uniforms in restricted areas - Studded, chained or spurred items - Hats (unless for a major sporting event eg FIFA World Cup or medical reasons) - Singlet, Tank Tops, Muscle Shirts, see-through blouses or midriff crop tops - Motorcycle Club Colours - Rubber thongs are not permitted after 8:30pm

How do I become a member?Becoming a member of The Fraternity Club is easy! To become a member, you need to fill out an application form either online or at reception. Please note, you must present your application in person so that we can confirm your residential address and provide you with a personalised membership card on the spot.

I am a member of another Club, can I sign a guest in?"No, only members of The Fraternity Club are permitted to sign guests in.

What is the 5km radius?The Fraternity Club is a Registered Club, and as such operates under the Registered Clubs Act. Part of this Act requires all patrons who reside within a designated 5km radius of The Fraternity Club, to become members if they wish to use club facilities. If you reside within this radius and wish not to become a member, you must be in the presence of a Fraternity Club member when utilising our facilities.

I live inside the 5km area, do I need to become a member?"Yes, you will need to become a member. Everyone over the age of 18 years living within the 5km radius is required to become a member to enter the club. However, you may attend a function at The Fraternity Club if you do not intend to use other club facilities, or you may be signed in by a member of The Fraternity Club as a guest.

How do I know if I live within 5kms of the club?As a general rule, residents of Balgownie, Bellambi, Coniston, Corrimal, Fairy Meadow, Fernhill, Gwynneville, Keiraville, Mangerton, Mt Keira, Mt Ousley, Mt Pleasant, North Wollongong, Russell Vale, Tarrawanna, Towradgi, West Wollongong & Wollongong all fall within the 5km radius of the club, however there is a map depicting the 5km radius displayed in the foyer of the club if you are unsure. Those who do not live inside the 5km radius may sign in as a visitor when they visit the club.

What happens if I lose or damage my membership card?If you have lost your membership card inside the Club, it will be handed in and kept at the Cash Box. However, if you have lost or damaged your card elsewhere, you can visit reception and have a new card printed (a small fee may be charged for the replacement card).

When do my bonus points expire?All bonus points expire on the 30th June each year. We advise all members to ensure they redeem all points before this date or risk losing them.

When do I need to renew my membership?The Club's membership runs by the financial year, so your membership will need renewing by July on the year indicated in on the front of your card. To renew your membership, you will need to visit Club Reception. If you are unable to come into the Club for any reason, you can also renew your membership by mail with a cheque, or a friend or family member is also able to renew it for you.

Are hats permitted in the club?Under most circumstances hats are not to be worn in the club by children or gentlemen. Ladies dress hats may be worn. Special circumstances may be discussed with management. Please refer to the dress code board located in the club's foyer.

Are singlets permitted in the club?No. Singlets, bare feet, swimwear and offensive t-shirts are not permitted at any time. Appearance must be clean, neat & tidy at all times. Management discretion may be used to determine what is considered clean, neat and tidy. Obscene or offensive language or clothing will not be tolerated. Please refer to the dress code board located in the club's foyer.

I am interested in joining The Fraternity Club team, how do I go about applying for any positions vacant?"Simply visit the Employment Page of our site and take a few moments to fill out our online application form. Any vacant positions will be listed here, but we are always on the look out for the perfect employees for our team! Be sure to have your current resume ready to upload. You may also drop your resume into the club in person.

I have some dietary requirements and am coming for lunch in the club, do you have any items suitable for me to eat?"It depends on your specific requirements, but we have vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free meals available. These menu items are clearly marked, however if you have any questions, simply see our friendly staff and we will do our best to assist. Please ask staff at La Trattoria or Il Bene for more information.

I have a group of 4 people who want to come for dinner, do we need to make a booking?"Generally, bookings for the La Trattoria or Il Bene are recommended for groups of 8 or more people – for smaller groups, such as yours, simply walk in and find a table. However, we do take bookings for smaller groups and recommend booking for special occasions or busy nights.

Where can I smoke?There are designated outdoor smoking areas located outside the TAB area and in the outdoor gaming area.

Are children welcome at the club?Definitely! We encourage families to bring their children to the club to enjoy the facilities, however, all children under 18 years must be in the company of a responsible adult. Please note that children must be supervised at all times and are not permitted to approach any bar.
