San Francisco Terms & Conditions 2015

This competition is being run at The Fraternity Bowling & Recreation Club, 11 Bourke Street, Fairy Meadow, NSW, 2519. The Promoter is The Fraternity Club, ABN 56 001 005 545. (Address as above, phone number (02) 4283 3333). The competition is open to entrants (members & visitors to The Fraternity Club) aged 18 years and over. 

Directors, management and employees of The Fraternity Club and their immediate family are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Participation in this game implies acceptance of all rules and competition. 

Ways to enter: 

Bonus tickets will be issued during ham raffles which start on Friday 6th November and will be drawn on Sunday 20th December after the last ham raffles (approx. 8:30pm). Tickets for the San Francisco trip are bonus tickets that will go into a barrel and be drawn on the final day. All entrants must have their name and method of contact clearly visible on their ticket. Any entries without clear, legible contact details will be deemed invalid. If at any point an unforeseen technical problem with ticket systems occur, The Fraternity Club reserves the right to delay the draws within a reasonable time or issue alternative back up entries.

There is one prize including:

  • Return flights for two to San Francisco
  • 6 nights accommodation
  • Watch the 49ers play a game in San Francisco
  • City Insider's Tour w/Alcatraz – 2 hours
  • City Insider's Tour - 5 hours
  • Self-Guided Bike w ferry tour

Prize Draws: 

Winner will be announced over the PA system in the Main Lounge of The Fraternity Club. Prize will be drawn after final ham raffle on 20 December 2015 at approximately 8:30pm and will be drawn from barrel. Winner must be present for the draw. If the winner has not claimed their prize within 4 minutes management will redraw the major prize. 

Prize is not redeemable for cash and will be required to be taken around September 2016. No meals or spending money is included in prize pool – winner reserves the rights to extend the trip at own expense. Prize pool worth $6353.00 (RRP). 

Please note that staff, management and directors of Fraternity Club are unable to enter this promotion. Scrutiny of the Major Draw will be undertaken by an Independent Scrutineer, as defined by OLGR in the trade promotion lotteries fact sheet. The Independent Scrutineer will complete a statutory declaration. The prize may not be exactly as illustrated in displays or marketing for the Promotion, however is able to be viewed in person at The Fraternity Club. 

The prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If any prize is unavailable, The Fraternity Club, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute prizes with prizes of equal value and/or specification, subject to written directions from the appropriate regulatory body. The Fraternity Club reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrants identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond control of The Fraternity Club, The Fraternity Club reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition to the full extent permitted by law and subject to any approval or directions from a regulatory authority. The Fraternity Club is not responsible for any loss or damage to entrants as a result of entering or participating in the competition, winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void. Entrants personal information may also be disclosed to State Lottery agencies and the winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the offices of The Fraternity Club. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. At the end of the promotion all entry tickets will be deemed invalid and will not carry over to any other draw. Fraternity Club Management’s decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.
